Order flow tools have always come with a catch. ATAS, Sierra Chart and Bookmap are serious platforms, but they are desktop software, mostly Windows-first, and they want a capable machine. GoCharting’s pitch is simple: footprint charts, Market Profile, delta and depth of market in a browser tab, on a Mac, a Chromebook or a tablet, with a free plan to start.
Overall rating: 7.6/10. GoCharting is the most accessible way we have found to start reading order flow without installing anything. The free plan is genuinely usable for learning, and CME futures data is priced at the low end of the market. The trade-offs are real: the pricing is split across data packages that are easy to misread, some markets are not available in every region, and the community is far smaller than TradingView’s. If order flow is the reason you are shopping, it belongs on your shortlist.

Last updated and verified: September 28, 2026
This review is built from GoCharting’s own pricing, feature and documentation pages (checked September 2026), independent reviews published in 2026, and a feature-by-feature comparison with the order flow platforms we have already reviewed: ATAS, Bookmap, Sierra Chart and MotiveWave. Where GoCharting makes a marketing claim we could not verify independently, we say so rather than repeat it.
Is GoCharting Worth It?
For learning order flow and for futures traders who move between devices, yes. The free plan lets you see what a footprint chart and a Market Profile actually show before you pay anything, and paid CME data at $35 a month is cheap by order flow standards. GoCharting also says it connects to Rithmic and Tradovate feeds, which covers most futures prop firm accounts.
It is less convincing as a replacement for a mature desktop platform if you already run one. ATAS and Sierra Chart have deeper configuration, larger user bases and years of third-party tools. GoCharting’s advantage is access, not depth.
Who Should Use GoCharting?
| Trader type | Verdict | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Futures trader new to order flow | ✓ Strong fit | Free footprint and Market Profile to learn on, then low-cost CME data when you are ready. |
| Mac, Linux or Chromebook user | ✓ Strong fit | Runs in the browser. Most order flow rivals need a Windows install. |
| Indian market trader (NSE, BSE, MCX) | ✓ Strong fit | Built in India with Indian exchange coverage at its core, including options tools. |
| Prop firm futures trader | ✓ Good fit | Rithmic and Tradovate connectivity covers most futures evaluations. Confirm your firm’s feed first. |
| Established ATAS or Sierra Chart user | △ Conditional | Useful as a second screen on a laptop or tablet; unlikely to replace a tuned desktop setup. |
| Stock trader outside India | ✗ Check first | GoCharting’s own US pricing page lists the US stock package as not available at the time of writing. |
GoCharting Pros and Cons
| ✓ Pros | ✗ Cons |
|---|---|
| Footprint, Market Profile, delta and DOM in a browser, no install | Pricing is split into data packages that are easy to misread |
| Free plan with no credit card and basic footprint included | Free plan is end-of-day only; real-time data and advanced order flow are paid |
| CME futures data from $35/month, low for an order flow platform | A subscription does not guarantee real-time data for every symbol or region |
| Rithmic and Tradovate connectivity for futures and prop accounts | US stock package listed as not available at the time of writing |
| Works on Mac, Linux, Chromebook and tablets; mobile apps included | Much smaller community and script library than TradingView |
| Lipi scripting for custom indicators and strategies | Lipi is GoCharting’s own language, so skills and scripts do not transfer |
What Is GoCharting?
GoCharting is a web-based charting and trading platform founded in India in 2017. Its differentiator is that the entire order flow toolkit is built to run in the browser rather than as installed desktop software, which is how most order flow platforms have always worked.
If order flow is new to you, the idea is to look inside each candle. A normal candle shows open, high, low and close. A footprint chart shows how many contracts traded at each price inside that candle, split between aggressive buyers and aggressive sellers. Our guide to order flow trading covers the concepts; this review covers the tool.
Key Features
Footprint charts and delta
GoCharting’s footprint charts show bid and ask volume at every price level, with delta, cumulative delta, imbalance detection and absorption available as studies. Basic footprints are in the free plan; real-time delta clusters, multi-anchor Volume Profile and imbalance highlighting need a paid subscription.
Market Profile and Volume Profile
Market Profile (TPO) shows where time was spent at each price and marks the value area and point of control. Volume Profile does the same with traded volume. Both are included, and Market Profile is available on the free plan. If you trade value areas and POCs, our Volume Profile guide explains how to read them.
Depth of market and time & sales
Level II depth and a live tape are available for supported markets. Depth data is the most expensive part of any order flow stack, and GoCharting notes that a subscription does not automatically include depth for every exchange, so check the package before you rely on it.
Lipi scripting
Lipi is GoCharting’s own scripting language for custom indicators and automated strategies. It lowers the barrier for building your own tools, but it is proprietary: code written for TradingView’s Pine Script or NinjaTrader’s C# will not run here, and the library of shared scripts is small by comparison.
Options tools and Indian markets
GoCharting grew up on Indian markets, and it shows. NSE, BSE and MCX coverage is central, and the platform includes an options chain and options analysis tools. For Indian traders this is one of the few order flow platforms built around their exchanges rather than adapted to them.
Pricing and Plans
GoCharting does not sell one subscription. It sells a free tier plus data packages by market, which is cheaper if you trade one market and confusing if you trade several. The figures below come from GoCharting’s US pricing page as reported in August 2026; Indian plans are priced separately in rupees.
| Package | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | End-of-day data, basic charting, Market Profile and basic footprint. No card required. |
| CME futures | $35/month | The package most futures and prop traders will need |
| Currency Premium | $20/month | Forex |
| US stocks | $35 (Level 1) / $49 (Level 2/3) | Listed as not available at the time of writing |
GoCharting says paid plans include a 7-day free trial and that annual billing saves roughly 16 to 20%. Prices and regional availability change, so confirm the package for your market at checkout. A useful rule: price the exact data you need first, then compare the total with ATAS or Sierra Chart plus their data fees, not with a headline plan price.

GoCharting for ICT and Smart Money Traders
ICT concepts are price-based, but order flow adds a second opinion at the levels that matter. The combinations that work in GoCharting:
| ICT concept | What GoCharting adds |
|---|---|
| Liquidity sweep | Footprint and delta show whether the sweep met absorption or follow-through |
| Fair Value Gap | Imbalance studies show whether the gap was built on one-sided aggressive volume |
| Premium and discount | Market Profile value area and POC give a volume-based view of fair value |
| Kill Zone execution | Live DOM and tape during the London or New York open, on the same screen as the chart |
None of this replaces a plan. Order flow is noisy in real time, and the most common mistake is watching the tape for reasons to enter rather than confirmation at a level you already chose. Pick the level first, then let the footprint confirm or cancel the trade.
GoCharting vs Competitors
| Feature | GoCharting | ATAS | Bookmap | TradingView |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Runs in browser | ✓ | Desktop | Desktop and web | ✓ |
| Footprint charts | ✓ | ✓ | Heatmap-first | Limited |
| Free plan | ✓ | Trial | Limited | ✓ |
| Community size | Small | Medium | Medium | Very large |
| Best for | Order flow on any device | Deep desktop order flow | Liquidity heatmap | General charting and community |
GoCharting vs ATAS
ATAS is the more complete order flow workstation, with deeper footprint configuration and a larger set of specialist indicators. It is also desktop software. GoCharting wins on access and on its free tier; ATAS wins if you trade order flow full-time from one Windows machine. Our ATAS review covers it in detail.
GoCharting vs Bookmap
Bookmap is built around the liquidity heatmap: resting orders over time. GoCharting is built around the footprint: executed volume inside each bar. They answer different questions, and some traders use both. See our Bookmap review.
GoCharting vs TradingView
TradingView is the better general-purpose charting platform, with the larger community, script library and broker list. Choose GoCharting when footprint and Market Profile are the features driving the decision. Our TradingView review covers what its plans include.
User Experience, Mobile and Integrations
Because it runs in the browser, your workspace follows you between machines, and there is no licence tied to a single computer. iOS and Android apps cover monitoring on the move. For execution, GoCharting advertises Rithmic and Tradovate connectivity for futures and one-click trading on supported brokers; broker and exchange availability depends on your region, so confirm your own route before you plan around it.
The honest limit of any browser platform is that heavy order flow on several charts is demanding. Test your actual layout during the trial, during a busy session, on the machine you will trade from.
Final Verdict and Rating

| Value for money | 8.0/10 | Usable free plan; low-cost CME data |
| Market coverage | 7.5/10 | Strong on CME and India; gaps elsewhere by region |
| Ease of use | 7.5/10 | Order flow has a learning curve on any platform |
| Pricing clarity | 7.0/10 | Package-based pricing needs careful reading |
| Community and ecosystem | 6.0/10 | Small script library; proprietary Lipi language |
| OVERALL | 7.6 / 10 | The easiest way into order flow; not yet a replacement for a mature desktop workstation. |
GoCharting fits the Method pillar of the Mind · Method · Money framework: it gives you more information at your levels, not more reasons to trade. Start on the free plan, learn to read a footprint at levels you already mark, and only pay for real-time data once the tool has changed a decision you would otherwise have made.
